Now let’s checkout, The BlackFunnel Interview:

Blackfunnel:  Tell us how you got started in the Hip Hop game?

White Boy: I started rapping my freshmen year. Then a few years later I won a contest called Chicago Idol. Now I got a CD coming out.

Blackfunnel:  Coming from the streets of Rockford, how did your life on the streets affect your approach to music?

White Boy:  It really didn't effect me. I always kept my mind on music. When I knew there was a problem in the streets, I would just go in the house and write.

Blackfunnel: . Let's discuss your new CD being released by ICEE Records. What's it all about?

White Boy:  “Just me and my life”.

Blackfunnel:  You've done some work with one of the hottest names in the business, Kanye West. Describe the experience when he kicked everyone out of the studio, what did this show you about Kanye?

White Boy:  That he takes his job serious and doesn't like to be bothered while he is in the studio. I know that. And that's the reason why he makes hits!

Blackfunnel:  You mentioned your love for family, in particular your brother, what role does he have in your career and is he still your musical mentor?

White Boy:  Yes he is. He plays a major role and if it wasn't for him, I probably wouldn't be rapping.

Blackfunnel:  Dr. Charles White, CEO at ICEE Records, is putting Chicago on the National Hip Hop stage with the release of your new CD; do you see Chicago getting more respect from the music industry than in the past?

White Boy:  Yes, much more respect. Twista and Kanye opened up the doors for me. They are putting the spot light on Chicago right now.

Blackfunnel:  Thanks for the interview, is there anything you want to tell the Hip Hop community!

White Boy:  Don't rush yourself into the industry and remember to vote (one mind one vote)
